Harrington featuring a life-size Chinook salmon, Columbia River dam names, and a quote from the late poet Tom Crawford: “Our rivers are paved with the dams of our good intentions.” Harrington has been a professional artist for 31 years and placed over 900 paintings in private collections in North America and Europe. His "Our Rivers Are Paved" campaign raises awareness about these incredible fish, the barriers they face, and the possibility of greater dam removals across the Pacific Northwest. Grundéns removed seams in the usual high wear areas, took inspiration from how climbing harnesses are built, and added a YKK Aquaseal waterproof and submersible center front zipper to make getting in and out of the water extremely easy.
